After an initial chat session on Mr. Tharpe’s website. He promptly contacted me and was extremely helpful in answering my questions concerning guardianship. Although my family member was in a county a good distance away, Mr Tharpe called an attorney in the area and briefed him on our concerns, at which time he called us back and recommended an attorney to us that was located in the area we needed.
I am not one to typically write reviews online so the fact that I am taking the time to do so speaks volumes. I have been working to help an elderly family friend for several weeks now regarding some legal questions and steps she needs to take in areas that I know very little about. What I quickly found out is that virtually every person I spoke with gave me conflicting advice on the same subject matter and most often spoke with seemingly little knowledge in and confidence in their advice. I decided to seek the counsel of an elderly law attorney. I was hopeful, but not too sure that anyone would assist in just answer questions and giving guidance to me without me being a client. I googled attorneys in the area and Mr. Tharpe’s office was third on my list, the first two rendering no help. To my surprise I was able to speak to a sweet paralegal and explain our situation. She wasn’t sure where to guide me so even more to my surprise I was immediately put through to Mr. Tharpe…at 4:45 on a Friday! We spoke in detail and he not only laid out a plan for me, he did so in the plain, direct, and confident language I have been seeking. We were on the phone well after hours, something of which he didn’t owe me. Not to mention I am not even his client, he was not getting paid for our conversation. I was highly impressed by this because it showed me he truly cares about people and helping, not just the almighty dollar that others I have interacted with primarily concern themselves with. Thanks again, Mr. Tharpe. We will use your firm in the future with legal needs in this area!
